One Heifer. Fifteen minutes of fame.
What started as a routine trip to the University of Illinois veterinary clinic turned into an unexpected campus adventure when one of our heifers got loose while being unloaded.
Instead of heading into the clinic, she took off across campus—with students, handlers and more than a few surprised onlookers watching along the way.
Several students captured videos of the curious cow on their way to class.
After a brief tour of campus, she was safely caught and returned to her caretakers.
